Contracted by the White River State Park Commission, Danadjieva & Koenig Associates designed the $1.3 million, 1988 Indiana White River State Park Promenade as a linear park. The half-mile pedestrian passageway along the White River links the New York Bridge with the old Washington Bridge. The design is inspired by Indiana's natural tradition. Native limestones and plantings define the open spaces.
